About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Bag Checker for a temporary, part-time event assignment in Logan, Utah. The role pays $17 per hour, offers weekly pay, and includes training; no experience is needed. The anticipated start is ASAP, and the shift runs from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The Bag Checker helps keep event venues safe by screening patrons’ bags before entry. This involves courteously requesting permission to inspect bags, checking the exterior and contents from the outside, watching for prohibited or potentially harmful items, and reporting suspicious or concerning behavior to an area supervisor. The work takes place in a busy event environment where professionalism, focus, and respectful communication are important. Candidates should be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail when inspecting bags and observing surroundings.

Responsibilities
