About The Position

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a skilled, energetic, and guest-focused event-based part-time Bartender to join our Premium Catering, Clubs, In-Seat, or Suites team. This event-based, part-time position is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced premium dining environment. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in responsible alcohol service, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and creates memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of bartending experience in hospitality, catering, hotels, clubs, stadiums/arenas, or full-service restaurants preferred.
  • Previous premium hospitality or high-volume event experience is a plus.
  • Valid TABC Certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and cash-handling skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to company recipes and service standards.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain bar stations with beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and supplies.
  • Greet guests professionally, take beverage orders, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Verify guest identification and comply with all federal, state, local, and company responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and respond appropriately to signs of intoxication.
  • Process cash and electronic transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintain inventory levels, restock products, and properly store beverage items at the conclusion of each event.
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and compliant with HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Wash and sanitize bar equipment and glassware, maintain attractive product displays, and assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Collaborate with culinary, service, and leadership teams to ensure efficient event operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
