Precision Ag Specialist
About The Position
Pape’ Machinery, Inc.’s Agriculture & Turf Division is hiring a Precision Ag Specialist to serve the Colfax, Washington and Moscow, Idaho region. The specialist will be the regional expert, key contact, and first line of support for departments configuring, quoting, setting up, and supporting John Deere Precision Ag and other Integrated Solutions-related products. The role includes explaining the customer value and features of John Deere Precision Ag products and helping customers navigate MyJohnDeere.com, Operations Center, JDLink, and the Stellar Support website. The specialist will focus on driving precision agriculture solution sales, troubleshooting products with customers, advising them on how to use their products effectively, and training and educating Pape’ team members. Pape’ offers training and mentoring, competitive compensation consisting of salary plus commission, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
Requirements
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Ability to identify issues related to Precision Ag and related technology solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person.
- Experience with Product Support department operations and customer expectations.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional expert, key contact, and first line of support for Precision Ag and Integrated Solutions products.
- Assist departments with configuring, quoting, setting up, and supporting John Deere Precision Ag and other Integrated Solutions-related products.
- Explain the customer value, features, and benefits of John Deere Precision Ag products and assist with navigation of MyJohnDeere.com, Operations Center, JDLink, and the Stellar Support website.
- Drive sales of precision agriculture solutions.
- Help customers troubleshoot and make effective use of their products.
- Train and support Pape’ team members by sharing knowledge about Precision Ag products.
