About The Position

The Pre-Sell Merchandiser contributes to area sales objectives by merchandising and servicing assigned accounts and completing related duties. The role involves maintaining shelves and promotional displays, stocking products and coolers where applicable, visiting accounts as scheduled, and maintaining strong relationships with account contacts. The position works in an office environment and travels to customer accounts, which may involve interior and exterior working conditions. Physical activities include frequent lifting and pushing or pulling, bending, squatting or kneeling, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, and driving; climbing and crawling are occasional. The stated potential earnings range is $16.3516–$22.4041 per hour.

Requirements

Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED.
Maintain a valid driver's license.
Two years of merchandising, sales, and/or customer-contact experience.
Experience with office equipment, including computers, phones, fax machines, copiers, and calculators.
Experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Clean shelving, rotate products, and verify correct shelf prices.
Build, merchandise, and maintain secondary and promotional displays to company standards.
Merchandise and fill coolers, vendors, and racks to standard on every visit, if applicable.
Call on each account as scheduled.
Create, develop, and maintain strong rapport in every account.
Manage, rotate, and maintain back-stock where applicable.
Collect and organize damaged product in a designated area.
Call in customer requests to the immediate supervisor.
Attend scheduled meetings and participate actively.
Attend training sessions.
Follow company and customer safety guidelines and policies.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
