About The Position

This role is part of a team of advanced professionals specializing in Trading and Asset Services, particularly the FIS Fixed Income Processing Suite (formerly InTrader). The team utilizes years of experience to provide business benefits and value to customers. As an InTrader Specialist, you will interpret advanced business requirements and lead discussions as an expert in trading and analytics across multiple asset classes, serving as an expert in solution ecosystems spanning Front, Middle, and Back Office processing. This advanced professional role requires a broad understanding of fixed income processing and accounting to demonstrate the strengths of the FIS Fixed Income Processing Suite to prospective clients. You will resolve complex issues requiring in-depth product knowledge and operational processes related to Front, Middle, and Back Office trading fixed income. You will exercise judgment in decision-making, determine approaches, methods, and procedures for new assignments, and utilize advanced knowledge of all products within a specific business unit and their relationship to other business unit solutions to assist the sales team in addressing unique client/prospect requirements. The role may also involve coordinating and guiding the work of others.

Requirements

At least 10+ years of experience with Financial Technology or Bank Treasury
Ability to independently configure the FIS Fixed Income Processing Suite to be able to deliver client/prospect reports for PoC activities
Works well in an independent, as well as team environment
Demonstrated ability to interact with and provide appropriate communications to senior management
Be based anywhere in the United States of America/Canada

Strong working familiarity with FIS and its various business units utilizing knowledge to expedite enhancement estimation activities

Responsibilities

Develop appropriate product solutions to meet client/prospect business requirements, mainly through Proof Of Concept solutions where the FIS Fixed Income Processing Suite is configured for specific client/prospect use case(s)
Present and demonstrate the FIS Fixed Income Processing Suite, either as a standalone offering or in conjunction with other FIS Solution offerings (Treasury, Investment, Banking, etc.)
Drive the solutioning process on behalf of sales executives to obtain client/prospect requirements
Identify and prioritize functionality gaps with sales representatives and clients/prospects
Initiate the request-source process to generate estimates to address functionality gaps or define appropriate workarounds
Gather all necessary information for internal suppliers to commit to performing the conversion
Complete RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFIs (Request for Information) against tight deadlines
Participate in business requirement review sessions with clients/prospects, document the requested scope, and provide effort estimates
Create proposal documents, outlining project scope and requirements
Configure the presentation environment to the client’s requirements and deliver product presentations/demonstrations to clients/prospects either in person or via web-based tools
Create and maintain product presentations (pptx) and application environments
Participate in the product release process and liaise with development to maintain the presales presentation environments with upgrades and configuration of new functionality in the releases
Train members of the presales team on new functionality
Train the sales solution consultants on new functionality and how best to present this to clients/prospects
Provide feedback on client/prospect requirements to FIS product managers on an ongoing basis
Interact with vendors and other organizations where appropriate to implement integration with third-party vendor solutions within the demo platform
