About The Position

O. C. Welch Ford Lincoln is seeking a Pre-Owned Assistant Sales Manager to assist with used-vehicle operations and sales management. The role supports vehicle reconditioning, used inventory management, sales staff, sales-volume and gross-profit growth, forecasting, and achievement of individual and departmental goals. The posting requires prior automotive sales manager experience.

Requirements

• Prior automotive sales manager experience is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring vehicle reconditioning is completed properly and in a time-effective manner.
• Assist in managing used inventory turn and stocking the right vehicle mix.
• Provide management assistance and support sales staff selling used vehicles.
• Assist in increasing sales volume while managing gross to achieve overall gross-profit growth.
• Assist in forecasting goals at the beginning of each month.
• Monitor, track, and strive to meet goals each month.
• Demonstrate an understanding that business is built on excellent customer satisfaction.
• Assist in ensuring individual and departmental goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
