About The Position

Corewell Health Orthopedics is seeking a Practice Supervisor to provide operational and people leadership for clinical teams supporting non-operative sports medicine, Orthopedic Urgent Care, and imaging services. The supervisor will oversee approximately 30 team members, including X-ray technologists, athletic trainers, medical assistants, and ambulatory care technicians. The role calls for a collaborative, engaging leader who builds strong partnerships with providers and fosters a positive, patient-centered culture.

Corewell Health Orthopedic Center is a state-of-the-art facility in Grand Rapids that houses orthopedic specialty care, physical therapy, Orthopedic Urgent Care, five operating rooms, and a sports performance institute. The position is full time, with a day shift schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 scheduled hours per week.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent in business, management, or another related area is required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Prior Team Lead experience is required.
• Formal supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of recent relevant supervisor experience in health care, medical practice, or related work is preferred.

• Direct the activities of staff within the assigned area.
• Ensure efficient, smooth patient flow and patient satisfaction.
• Provide operational and people leadership for teams supporting non-operative sports medicine, Orthopedic Urgent Care, and imaging services.
