About The Position

The Practice Manager oversees the operations and activities of a designated dental practice area, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently in support of organizational goals. The role includes building professional relationships with doctors, managing staffing and administrative requirements, preparing reports, ensuring service quality, and leading team meetings and action reporting. The Practice Manager works with internal teams, support teams, and vendors, applies knowledge of the dental industry, and independently manages and guides staff. The role also oversees patient service and satisfaction, operational efficiency, budgets and expenses, compliance, performance metrics, communication between management and staff, and implementation of corporate strategies and initiatives. The position is based in Moreno Valley, California, and offers a salary range of $68,000–$75,000 per year based on experience, with eligibility for monthly bonuses.

Requirements

Education equivalent to an associate degree in a business- or dental-related field.
One to three or more years of relevant work experience as an office manager in a dental practice.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and dental practice programs.
Ability to solve problems using basic knowledge and technology.
Ability to troubleshoot dental systems and technology with assistance from the IT Department to maintain continuous services during system issues.
Demonstrated professional development through participation in and pursuit of higher-level, innovative training opportunities.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise employees or managers in the designated area, including hiring, training, and developing team members.
Oversee patient service efforts, resolve patient complaints, and implement strategies to improve the patient experience.
Optimize the efficiency of practice operations.
Manage budgets and expenses, control costs, and allocate resources to meet financial targets.
Ensure operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Monitor performance against key performance indicators and metrics, analyze data, identify improvement areas, and take corrective action.
Communicate information between upper management and the team to maintain alignment with organizational goals.
Implement corporate strategies and initiatives.
Monitor market trends, competition, and local factors that may affect the business.
Build professional relationships with doctors and coordinate staffing, administrative requirements, reports, quality assurance, team meetings, and action reporting.
Work with internal teams, support teams, and vendors.
