Practice Manager II
About The Position
Sentara Palliative Care Specialists is hiring a full-time Practice Manager II to oversee two new palliative care clinics in Hampton and Williamsburg, Virginia. The role partners with clinical leadership in a dyad model to ensure efficient and effective operations for one or more clinics or practices with 11–24 staff members and/or a complexity operations score of 2 for hospital- or office-based specialties. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on the day shift. The Practice Manager provides overall staff supervision and oversight of clinic operations, including customer service, budgeting, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory-care policies, regulations, and standards of care. The manager personally monitors and engages team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team-member performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Two years of healthcare experience.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clinical leadership in a dyad model to ensure efficient and effective clinic or practice operations.
- Provide overall supervision of staff.
- Oversee customer service, budget, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory-care policies, regulations, and standards of care.
- Personally monitor and engage team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team-member performance.
- Oversee two new palliative care clinics in Hampton and Williamsburg, Virginia.
