About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Technician 2 (Shop Technician) to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs safely and effectively, with an emphasis on returning equipment to service and minimizing downtime. The role involves working with Pump & Power equipment and may require working indoors or outdoors. Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration, electrical engines and controllers, dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters, and compressed-air treatment equipment such as dryers, filters, and aftercoolers.
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, air conditioning, heaters, and shoring; understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic flow diagrams.
• Experience with similar equipment.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 25 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment safely and effectively, emphasizing returning it to service and avoiding downtime.
