About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Road Technician 2 to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs safely and effectively, with an emphasis on returning equipment to service and avoiding equipment downtime. The role may involve working indoors or outdoors as required by the job and requires physical tasks such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more. Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
- DOT Physical Examination (medical card).
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Understanding of basic refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
- Familiarity with operating dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters.
- Knowledge of generators, power distribution, air conditioning, heaters, and shoring; understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
- Understanding of compressed-air treatment, including dryers, filters, and aftercoolers.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.
