GenServe is seeking an experienced Power Generator Technician for its field service team. The role involves advanced diagnosis, repair, testing, and maintenance of commercial and industrial generators—including diesel, natural gas, and propane systems—and complex automatic transfer switches (ATS) and controls. Technicians work independently in the field, lead service projects, and provide support to less-experienced technicians. The position includes customer-site travel, emergency response duties, and a rotating on-call schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The technician coordinates with project managers, clients, vendors, and dispatch; schedules multi-day service jobs; and manages rental equipment for complex repairs. GenServe offers continued OEM training and leadership development, with possible advancement into positions such as Gen Tech 4, Service Manager, Sales Representative, Service Writer, or System Integrations, depending on performance, qualifications, and career goals.
