About The Position

The Pot Washer helps keep the hotel kitchen and dining areas clean while supporting memorable guest experiences. The role cleans chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, and pans; burnishes silver; keeps supplies and equipment stocked and organized; performs kitchen cleaning tasks; and prepares serviceware for banquets and functions. The Pot Washer also helps train new stewards and follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
