About The Position

Betches Media is seeking an experienced, highly organized post-production leader to oversee and evolve processes, workflows, and editorial standards across its podcast and video departments. The Post-Production Supervisor will oversee cross-platform post-production execution, establish standards for editorial quality and delivery, and ensure workflows support creative excellence and business priorities. The role works closely with podcast, video, social, creative, operations, and analytics teams.

The supervisor will lead and develop the post-production team, oversee freelance and vendor workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve content production through final delivery. The role requires experience with in-person and remote production workflows and an understanding of social platforms, platform requirements, and distribution strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in post-production, podcast/video production, or production management.
• Experience leading post-production teams, team leads, freelancers, and external vendors.
• Experience overseeing post-production across multiple shows, series, platforms, or content formats simultaneously.
• Experience handling resourcing, calendars, and budgets.
• Strong editorial judgment and understanding of pacing, comedic timing, storytelling, and brand voice.
• Demonstrated experience developing and improving post-production workflows, review processes, and delivery standards.
• Strong understanding of the social landscape and how content should be edited, versioned, and distributed across platforms.
• Experience partnering with creative, production, operations, and analytics teams.
• Passion, curiosity, and enthusiasm for the content Betches covers.
• Highly collaborative, with excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in audio and video post-production and file/media management workflows, including Google Drive, Adobe, Asana, StudioBinder, Descript, and Pro Tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-platform post-production execution across podcast, video, social, and other content formats.
• Set and uphold editorial standards for tone, pacing, storytelling, and overall quality across deliverables.
• Ensure final content reflects the Betches brand voice and aesthetic across platforms and projects.
• Identify and resolve creative inconsistencies while streamlining feedback, review, and approval workflows.
• Establish team structures, workflows, and resource plans that support quality, efficiency, and timely delivery across multiple projects.
• Lead and develop post-production team members through coaching, feedback, and support.
• Coach team leads and drive department-wide initiatives that strengthen collaboration, accountability, and team culture.
• Oversee freelance and vendor post-production workflows, assignments, quality standards, and deliverables.
• Define and improve the tools, processes, and delivery standards needed to scale post-production.
• Partner with creative leadership and operations to develop post-production solutions that support company goals.
• Set the vision and rollout plans for new editing styles, visual treatments, and platform-specific approaches.
• Audit deliverables and establish checkpoints to ensure consistency with the Betches brand voice and evolving creative direction.
• Shape the team’s platform education strategy and ensure deliverables are optimized for YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with Analytics to evaluate platform performance and evolve post-production practices based on audience behavior and content performance.
• Oversee post-production calendars, delivery pipelines, handoffs, and vendor timelines across multiple ongoing projects.
• Identify workflow, staffing, and resource needs and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and creative quality.
• Ensure post-production projects meet established quality standards, specifications, and deadlines.
