About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its high-tech Inspection Centers. The available positions include Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. Work may involve detailing vehicles, moving vehicles between departments, photographing vehicles, or inspecting vehicles for imperfections and defects. Training programs are offered to help entry-level employees develop their skills and progress in pay. The role requires working in a fast-paced production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Applicants must pass a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, detail vehicles by washing, cleaning interiors, and buffing exteriors.
Move vehicles from one department to another within Inspection Centers.
Photograph vehicles for customer-facing vehicle listings.
Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
