About The Position
Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Inspection Center in Trenton, Ohio. The Quality Associate, Post Production role is presented among entry-level automotive opportunities. Available duties across the listed roles include detailing vehicles, moving vehicles between departments, photographing vehicles, and inspecting vehicle interiors and exteriors for imperfections or defects. Entry-level employees receive training intended to help their skills and pay progress with the company. The position pays $18.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience. The location offers two schedules: Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m., or Monday–Thursday, 4 p.m.–3 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Employees may need to use protective equipment such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must pass a complete background check.
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned automotive production duties, which may include detailing vehicles through washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing.
- Move vehicles from one department to another within the Inspection Center, if assigned as a Lot Attendant.
- Photograph vehicles for customer-facing vehicle listings, if assigned as a Photobooth Associate.
- Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects, if assigned as an Inspection Associate.
- Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
