Post Production Associate
About The Position
Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Inspection Center in West Memphis, Arkansas. Available positions include Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. Detailers wash, clean, and buff vehicles; Lot Attendants move vehicles between departments; Photobooth Associates photograph vehicles for online listings; and Inspection Associates examine vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections and defects. The role is based at 1100 Family Dollar, West Memphis, AR 72301. Two schedules are offered: Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–3 p.m., or Monday–Thursday, 4 p.m.–3 a.m. All locations may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Starting pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees to support skills and pay progression.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes while exposed to hot or cold weather.
- Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Detail vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing (Detailer).
- Move vehicles between departments in the Inspection Center (Lot Attendant).
- Take vehicle photographs for online customer listings (Photobooth Associate).
- Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects (Inspection Associate).
- Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
