About The Position

Vox Media is seeking a Post-Production Supervisor to drive post-production operations for the branded content division of Vox and New York Magazine. Reporting to the Director, Creative Production, this role leads end-to-end post operations, including project scheduling, engaging freelance editors and post-production vendors, and ensuring that deliverables—from social content and still photography to long-form video—meet quality standards and deadlines. The supervisor collaborates closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and other teams to optimize workflows and deliver polished final assets. The role oversees crew and vendor resourcing, onboarding, schedules, technical workflows, licensed assets, media management, and campaign communication channels. It also ensures project files and media are archived and backed up, delivery specifications are followed, and video and photo assets meet quality requirements before client review. The supervisor guides the team in efficient practices, maintains post-production SOPs, tracks budgets and invoices, and leads adoption of tools that improve speed or quality. The role is based in Vox Media’s New York City office, with a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote.
