The Portfolio Operations Leader will strengthen how the Chief Information Office (CIO) turns priorities into realistic plans, measurable commitments, and delivered outcomes. The role establishes an integrated delivery intelligence system connecting priorities, plans, capacity, delivery performance, dependencies, and outcomes across multiple programs inside and outside the CIO. It leads the operating rhythm and delivery practices behind that system, applying engineering-led automation and AI-enabled agents to improve portfolio operations while maintaining human accountability for consequential decisions. The position helps leaders plan and forecast credibly, identify systemic risks earlier, and reduce manual effort. Success includes improved planning predictability, fewer dependency-driven delays and late surprises, stronger executive confidence in delivery information, and measurable improvements in the effort, cycle time, and quality of portfolio operations. The role leads a team of portfolio operations practitioners and partners with program, platform, and functional leaders to improve data quality and delivery discipline while retaining accountability with the leaders who own the work. U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed at the facility.
