About The Position
Eagle Rock Properties is seeking a Porter to join its Maintenance team. Eagle Rock Properties is a full-service real estate firm headquartered in New York, providing investment management, property management, and construction management services. The company has more than 275 professionals and specializes in rental apartment communities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. The Porter helps maintain clean, attractive, and safe community spaces; assists with apartment make-readies and unit cleaning; and supports snow removal as required. The role also includes reporting potential liabilities and inoperable vehicles, following applicable company and community policies, and assisting with property compliance requirements. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and attractive environment around the Leasing Office, Clubhouse, Pool, and all common areas.
- Keep streets, curbs, and sidewalks clean.
- Sweep breezeways and steps.
- Maintain clean laundry rooms, doors, and light globes.
- Replace exterior light bulbs as needed.
- Clean the pool area and pool furniture.
- Clean the mailroom.
- Check and empty trash receptacles as often as necessary, including daily checks.
- Report inoperable vehicles on the property to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager.
- Report potential liabilities to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager.
- Assist with apartment make-readies and unit cleaning.
- Assist with snow removal as required by the company.
- Follow company policies and procedures and applicable community policies.
- Assist with property compliance with company requirements and objectives.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities assigned by the company.
