About The Position

Experience Senior Living is seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to help provide residents with a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Porter is responsible for maintaining common areas, assisting with light maintenance and room turnover, responding to facility-related requests, and supporting community events. The role contributes to a high standard of hospitality and care for residents.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and staff.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, as required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or maintenance work, especially in a residential or hospitality setting, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, dining rooms, restrooms, activity rooms, and outdoor spaces.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash.
Assist with room turnover and light maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, and furniture assembly.
Respond promptly to resident and staff requests for assistance with facility-related needs.
Monitor and report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
Support the setup and breakdown of community events and activities.
Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and request replenishment as needed.
