About The Position

The Porter helps create a positive experience for dealership guests and supports smooth dealership operations. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, moving vehicles safely, keeping the lot and dealership premises orderly, and cleaning and maintaining vehicles to meet presentation standards. The Porter also assists sales, service, and management teams as needed. The position is part-time, with shifts ranging from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and approximately 15–25 hours per week. Starting pay is $13.00–$16.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Familiarity with vehicle detailing products, tools, and techniques.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist arriving guests, providing a friendly and welcoming experience.
Safely transport vehicles around the lot, to and from service bays, and to other required areas.
Keep the lot neat and orderly, with vehicles correctly displayed and accessible.
Wash, vacuum, and maintain vehicles to meet dealership presentation standards.
Help keep the service drive and dealership premises clean and organized.
Assist sales, service, and management team members as needed.
