About The Position
The Porter maintains the grounds, amenities, and common areas of a luxury residential community and assists the maintenance team with service requests. The role uses maintenance skills and knowledge to help create a luxurious, inviting community and support resident satisfaction. Work takes place across residential apartment communities, including occupied units, vacant apartments, exterior grounds, and maintenance areas.
Requirements
- CPO certification is required.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Able to read service requests and schedules and regularly converse in English with team members, residents, and vendors.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to adhere to a set and variable work schedule.
- Able to adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Able to maintain a professional and ethical atmosphere.
- Able to perform duties at locations other than the home property.
- Able to travel within major metropolitan areas and may be required to attend company functions in other cities.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Janitorial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Complete minor service requests.
- Prepare make-ready apartments.
- Maintain common areas of the community.
- Maintain the pool area.
- Maintain inventory and organize the shop.
- Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
- Participate in the preventative maintenance program.
- Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
- Participate in CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
