About The Position

Porsche Stevens Creek, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring a Porter (also called a Valet or Lot Attendant) to support dealership operations. The role involves moving vehicles as needed and keeping the showroom and display lots neat and orderly. The dealership offers an opportunity to gain experience and learn about dealership operations in state-of-the-art facilities. Pay is $20–$22 per hour. The position works standard business hours, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. The work takes place in a covered area and outdoors at times, where employees may encounter heat, cold, hazards, and noise. This is a medium-work position with lifting, pulling, or pushing demands, as well as standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, talking, and hearing. A valid driver's license is required. Employees under 18 may not drive vehicles off dealership premises.

Requirements

Able to safely drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, routines, and standard practices.
Ability to interact well with others and work effectively in a team and with a diverse group of people.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or 10 pounds constantly as required to move objects.
Ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp; ability to talk and hear.
Valid driver's license.
