About The Position
O.Henry Hotel is seeking friendly, energetic Porters to provide outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on genuine service to guests, fellow staff members, owners, and the community. Porters provide attentive guest service, safely transport guests to their destinations, serve as welcoming ambassadors, share knowledge of Greensboro and hotel services, build relationships, and help maintain cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
- Valid driver's license.
- Friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented.
- Passion for hospitality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and initiative.
- Ability to retain and recall detailed information.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service to create a delightful guest experience.
- Safely transport guests to their destinations.
- Serve as an ambassador of arrival.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of Greensboro, hotel services, travel directions, and recommendations for shipping, dining, and entertainment.
- Establish and maintain relationships with the hotel and its guests.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
