About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a U-Box Customer Care Representative (local delivery driver) to deliver and handle U-Box storage containers while providing customers with friendly, courteous service. The role operates flatbed trucks and forklifts, with training provided, and transports containers on local routes to and from customer homes and businesses. The employee participates in ongoing education through U-Haul University. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Clean motor vehicle driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Department of Transportation certification.
Commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Operate a flatbed truck; training is provided.
Operate an 8,000-pound propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift; training is provided.
Load and unload storage containers for delivery.
Transport storage containers on local routes to and from specified destinations, including customers’ homes and businesses.
Provide customers with friendly and courteous service.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
