About The Position

The Homestead Allegheny Springs Pool Attendant provides quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations and helps create guests for life by embracing Omni Homestead service standards, adhering to safety regulations, and gaining the knowledge needed to assist guests. The role maintains a clean, attractive, and safe pool environment that meets Omni operating standards and supports daily facility operations.

Requirements

Customer-service focus.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for the majority of an average eight-hour shift.
Ability to bend as needed to pick up trash and towels and fold linens for the majority of the shift.
Comfort working outdoors in both hot and cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

Follow Omni Appearance Standards.
Help reduce the risk of injury to guests and employee partners and prevent property damage.
Know and follow the correct procedures in emergencies.
Share accurate information about the resort, activities, daily events, and hours of operation with guests and employee partners.
Maintain a clean, aesthetically desirable, and safe environment that meets Omni Standards of Operations.
Maintain checklists and schedules for opening and closing procedures and daily operations.
Greet and serve guests; handle laundry, collect used towels, and stock the towel distribution area.
Keep the deck and locker room clean and assist servers with bussing tables and cleaning food and beverage areas.
Spot-clean pools with skimmers and brushes as needed.
Check chemical levels and report issues to a supervisor or manager.
Notify a supervisor or manager of items that need to be ordered.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
