Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with guests and team members.
• Use the point-of-sale system and close out guest checks accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a cash bank and follow accounting guidelines for receiving payments, verifying check totals, disbursing tips, and managing the cash drawer and house bank.
• Promote knowledge of all menus and items offered.
• Keep shelves, pantry, and other areas stocked and prepared for each shift; maintain front-of-house and back-of-house inventory.
• Keep the work area clean and stocked.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and creatively address dissatisfaction.
• Balance the house bank at the end of the shift, retrieving it from and returning it to the vault as required.
• Assist where needed to help deliver high service levels.
