About The Position

The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction in all pool and recreation areas. The position ensures guests have a clean, welcoming, and safe environment while using resort pool facilities. The role includes maintaining pool areas and amenities, monitoring guest activity, assisting with pool features, and reporting safety or maintenance concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards is desirable.
• Ability to understand and follow simple written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently required to reach, handle, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have clear vision and the ability to focus on near and distant objects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in pool and recreation areas, including restrooms and towel stations.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.
• Monitor guest activity to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Fold and stock towels, arrange pool furniture, and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assist in the supervision of water slides or other pool features as assigned.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.
• Interact positively with guests, especially children, to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
• Adhere to all resort policies and procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
