About The Position

The Pool Attendant welcomes guests to the Grey Oaks Country Club pool, responds to guest requests, and assists guests and Food and Beverage service with reservations and other needs. The role aims to exceed member and guest expectations and enhance satisfaction through positive interactions. Team members are expected to take personal ownership, act in the best interest of the Club, and adhere to its core values. Grey Oaks Country Club is a private club in Naples, Florida, with more than 350 team members and golf, dining, pool, wellness, and racquet-sport amenities. This position reports to the Recreation Manager.

Requirements

At least six months of customer service experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a club or resort pool environment.
Previous experience in a large, luxury club or resort setting.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of the Club’s features, services, events, amenities, locations, and hours of operation.
Set up areas daily, escort guests, assist with service requests throughout the day, and complete pool turndown services.
Take accurate and timely food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS, and deliver orders promptly.
Keep the pool deck and cabanas clean and free of debris.
Maintain and organize pool furniture and tables.
Anticipate and fulfill guest requests effectively.
Process charges and payment settlements.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the pool deck and property areas.
Implement and follow Grey Oaks core values and property and department standards.
Communicate safety concerns and repair needs to the appropriate department or management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
