About The Position

The Polisher helps create and maintain quality restaurant experiences by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant. The role supports dining-room and service-station readiness by polishing glassware and silverware, stocking supplies, and replenishing dining-room items. The position is part-time at Adas Wine Bar in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a salary range of $12.00–$13.00 per hour and any shift.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, potentially for the entire shift.
• Intermittent ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds; heavier lifting must be done with assistance.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print.
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Ability to move quickly and turn from side to side.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Wrist flexibility for scooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stock clerk or related work desired.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, racks, tables, and service stations with new or transferred supplies.
• Receive, open, unpack, and stock restaurant supplies.
• Polish glasses and silverware for use in the dining room.
• Restock the dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen.
• Maintain adequate supplies in work stations while the dining room is open.
• Fold napkins and prepare extra place settings.
• Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items for reorder or replenishment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
