About The Position
As a Poker Room Attendant, you will help create an excellent guest experience by greeting guests entering the poker room and building positive, lasting relationships with them. By understanding guests’ individual stories and needs, you will deliver memorable experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Nice To Haves
- One year of prior poker experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Place guests into games.
- Develop customer relations and facilitate use of the MGM rewards card.
- Explain rules and answer guests’ questions.
- Open games according to the supervisor’s instructions.
- Obtain players’ checks and maintain poker table banks to support efficient operations.
- Track players using a computer tracking system.
- Evaluate play for complimentary purposes.
