About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment. The role involves cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms, replenishing guest supplies, and reporting unusual room conditions or maintenance needs. Work must follow the designated room classification checklist and MGM Resorts’ quality standards.

Requirements

• Three months of related housekeeping experience, or exposure to the hospitality industry and training from the Culinary Training Center.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate in English as a primary or secondary language is preferred.
• Experience in a similar resort setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, emptying trash, and dusting or wiping down surfaces.
• Restock guest amenities and information folders as needed.
• Sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors, using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Replace guest amenities such as soaps, tissues, and ashtrays.
• Arrange fresh bathmats on tubs or shower doors and place clean towels on racks.
• Identify and report unusual room conditions or maintenance needs.
• Perform tasks according to the designated room classification checklist and quality standards.
