About The Position

Concorde Education partners with schools and educational organizations nationwide to provide hands-on enrichment programs for K–12 students. The Podcasting Instructor leads in-person podcasting and audio production programs at partner schools, introducing students to podcast development, storytelling, interviewing, recording, editing, and producing original audio content. Programs encourage creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and technical skill development through age-appropriate activities. These are potential independent contractor assignments, not employee positions. Programs typically involve 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school, and run approximately 8–10 weeks, although schedules, student age groups, program content, assignment lengths, and availability vary according to partner school needs. Start dates are rolling throughout the school year. Compensation generally starts at $50 or more per completed instructional hour, with the specific rate determined by the assignment and its requirements. No minimum number of assignments or instructional hours is guaranteed. Contractors prepare and facilitate activities within the agreed program scope, adapt instruction to student needs, encourage participation and teamwork, maintain a supportive learning environment, communicate with designated contacts, and follow applicable school-site requirements. Instructional materials and equipment vary by assignment; resources may include microphones, computers, headphones, recording software, and other audio production tools. Contractors are not expected to purchase specialized equipment without prior agreement. Formal teaching certification is not required. Prior classroom teaching experience is helpful but not required. Engagement is subject to assignment availability, qualifications, agreed compensation, applicable clearance requirements, and written confirmation. The application and onboarding process may include creating an instructor profile, applying for opportunities, an interview or qualification review, documentation and school-site clearances, and acceptance of individual assignment terms. Applying or interviewing does not guarantee selection, hours, future assignments, or continued engagement. Concorde Education is committed to equal opportunity and an inclusive environment.
