Dance Enrichment Instructor – K–12 Programs

Concorde Education•New York, NY
•$50 - $100•Onsite

About The Position

Concorde Education partners with schools and educational organizations nationwide to provide hands-on enrichment programs for K–12 students. The organization seeks instructors with experience in dance, choreography, or related performing arts to lead engaging, age-appropriate dance programs at local schools. Formal teaching certification is not required; practical dance experience, enthusiasm, reliability, and the ability to create a positive learning environment are valued. Independent instructional contractors may lead small-group programs introducing movement, rhythm, coordination, teamwork, self-confidence, and creative expression. Depending on the assignment, instruction may cover dance styles, choreography, fundamentals, or other movement-based activities. Activities are adapted to student ages, abilities, and program objectives, with emphasis on safe, age-appropriate movement and techniques. Assignments are in person at partner schools and typically involve 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school, for approximately 8–10 weeks. Start dates are rolling throughout the school year. Contractors can review opportunities and accept or decline assignments based on their interests, availability, and agreed compensation. Assignments generally begin at $50+ per completed instructional hour; rates vary by location, program requirements, and instructor experience. The posting also lists a salary range of $50–$100 per hour. Applicants may be invited to create an instructor profile, provide relevant qualifications, and apply for assignments. Depending on the opportunity, an interview, onboarding documentation, background screening, and school or site clearance may be required. Applying or completing onboarding steps does not guarantee selection, placement, a minimum number of hours, future assignments, or continued engagement. These are potential independent contractor assignments, not employee positions, and final engagement depends on availability, qualifications, agreed compensation, clearance requirements, and written confirmation.
