About The Position

Hi-Lo Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott is seeking a part-time PM Server/Bartender for its Food & Beverage team in Portland, Oregon. The role primarily works evening restaurant shifts and supports banquet events on an on-call basis. The position provides food and beverage service, prepares cocktails, and helps create welcoming, memorable guest experiences. The candidate should be personable, reliable, knowledgeable about food and beverage service, and comfortable working both behind the bar and on the restaurant floor. The role offers a minimum-wage hourly rate plus tips, a flexible part-time schedule, and on-call banquet opportunities. The hotel is managed by Radiate Hospitality and is part of the Marriott family. Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
At least 3 years of bartending experience.
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout an active shift.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Professional appearance and adherence to hotel grooming standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute bar setup and opening duties.
Prepare house-made ingredients, mixers, garnishes, and specialty cocktail components.
Stock and organize liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies; polish glassware and keep the bar clean and organized.
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
Comply with liquor laws, safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Assist with beverage menu development, seasonal cocktail features, inventory management, and beverage cost controls.
Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly service to hotel guests and restaurant patrons.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, and serve them according to established service standards.
Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, wine selections, and local recommendations.
Maintain clean and organized service stations and process guest payments accurately and responsibly.
Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service; create engaging guest interactions and resolve concerns promptly.
Promote hotel services, restaurant offerings, and special events, and represent Hi-Lo Hotel and Marriott positively.
Assist with banquet service, receptions, weddings, meetings, and hotel events as needed.
Set up and break down banquet spaces and support food and beverage service during special events.
Collaborate with culinary, banquet, and hotel operations teams to support successful event execution.
Maintain a professional appearance and follow hotel grooming standards, company policies, safety requirements, and operating procedures.
Support co-workers, contribute to a positive team culture, and perform other Food & Beverage duties as assigned.
