About The Position

Pickers fill orders by moving specific products from warehouse storage onto pallets so they can be packed and loaded onto a truck. This role works in a refrigerated warehouse and uses a voice pick system. The schedule is Sunday through Friday, with split days off, starting at 5 p.m. and continuing until the work is done. The position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment of 35–45 degrees.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and prioritize activities under pressure.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to actively engage in continuous improvement activities.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Efficiency, measured by pick rate (items picked per hours worked).
• Order accuracy, measured by the percentage of error-free orders.
• Ability to walk, lift, and work quickly to meet pick-rate targets.
• Safety-focused work habits, including safe lifting, equipment operation, pallet stacking, and attention to detail to prevent accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders in a refrigerated warehouse using a voice pick system.
• Build pallets and prepare orders for delivery.
• Double-check orders for accuracy.
• Communicate inventory, stocking, racking, or equipment maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Work efficiently toward a target pick rate of 100–150 pieces per hour while maintaining order accuracy and safe work practices.
