About The Position

The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, shipping, and receiving products in accordance with company standards. The role supports efficient warehouse operations by maintaining accuracy, meeting productivity expectations, and following established safety procedures. Duties may also include replenishing inventory, transporting products throughout the warehouse, and performing general warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Effective customer service skills.
Basic math competencies.
Must be able to obtain NFI certification on an electric pallet jack.

Nice To Haves

Six months of electric pallet jack operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
Understand equipment safety basics and adhere to all safety protocols.
Complete and document required pre-operation equipment inspection forms.
Load and unload freight efficiently, accurately, and safely.
Move products to designated storage areas using appropriate material handling equipment; stack and store merchandise in assigned locations.
Pick customer orders by assembling merchandise for shipment.
Process orders by picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations.
Verify freight accuracy and check for damage or infestation.
Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.
