About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a warehouse Order Selector for its distribution center at 10901 38th St., Kenosha, Wisconsin. The role supports order processing and delivery to customers by selecting products in an automated distribution center. No prior experience is required; a dedicated training team provides training. Starting pay is $21.95 per hour, with two pay raises during the first year and opportunities to earn more based on speed, efficiency, production, and performance. The posting says selectors take home an average of 122% of their base salary. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. The first shift begins at 7:30 a.m.; 4:30 p.m. is an approximate finish time, and shifts vary based on work volume. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a steady work history.
Be able to read, write, and communicate in English to understand labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits and updates, paperwork, and verbal instructions.
Be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Be able to stand and work on your feet for 10 hours and lift up to 100 pounds.
