About The Position

The Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, shipping, and receiving product in accordance with company standards. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by maintaining accuracy, meeting productivity expectations, and following all established safety procedures. Duties may also include replenishing inventory, transporting product throughout the warehouse, and performing general warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Preferred six months of electric pallet jack operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
Must be able to obtain NFI certification on an electric pallet jack.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
Maintain a basic understanding of equipment safety and adhere to all safety protocols.
Complete and document required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
Load and unload freight efficiently, accurately, and safely.
Move product to designated storage areas using appropriate material handling equipment, and stack and store merchandise in assigned locations.
Pick customer orders, assembling merchandise for shipment.
Process orders by picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations.
Verify freight accuracy and check for damage or infestation.
Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Perform assigned sanitation duties.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.
