Order Selector
About The Position
The Dry Selector accurately selects and prepares product orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position requires attention to detail and safe operation of warehouse equipment. The selector transports product to a staging area using a riding pallet jack, wraps pallets, loads product onto delivery trucks for next-day delivery, and maintains a clean warehouse aisle. The employee must follow all safety rules. Employment eligibility will be verified through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system. Applicants must provide valid documentation establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States, as required by federal law.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Standing forklift experience.
- Electric pallet jack (rider) experience.
- Ability to read.
- Ability to write legibly.
- Ability to perform simple math, including counting.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously.
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods.
Responsibilities
- Select product from warehouse slots in a timely manner.
- Safely transport product to the staging area using a riding pallet jack.
- Wrap pallets before loading.
- Load product into delivery trucks for next-day delivery.
- Clean and maintain the warehouse aisle.
- Follow all safety rules.
