About The Position

The PM Housekeeper helps maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming guest areas at Wingspread Retreat & Executive Conference Center. This role contributes to guest satisfaction by preparing and maintaining guest rooms with care and attention to detail, supporting the housekeeping team, and following property standards for cleanliness, safety, and service. Housekeepers who excel may have opportunities to grow into supervisory or management positions.

Requirements

Housekeeping experience is desirable.
Neat appearance and pleasant personality.
Time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; and position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 pounds in tight spaces.
Ability to operate spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
Work as part of a team to maintain resort and hotel cleanliness.
Keep the work cart orderly and properly stocked.
Use equipment, supplies, and guest amenities properly.
Thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned guest areas.
Change and inspect linens and towels daily, following the standards of the Green Program.
Follow safety standards, watch for hazards, and report them appropriately.
Respect guests’ property.
Take proper care of equipment.
Arrive on time according to the posted schedule, maintain accurate time records, and follow proper standards for issuance of rooms.
Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers.
Perform other related duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor.
