About The Position

Silverado St. Charles is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents in a memory care community. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, consistency, integrity, and a service-oriented approach. Housekeepers support residents with respect and compassion, including individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. No prior experience is necessary; assisted living or hospitality experience is a plus.

The position is on the PM shift, with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The anticipated pay range is $18–$21 per hour. Offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
• Ability to perform an active role involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Nice To Haves

• Assisted living or hospitality experience.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care.
