About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh. The role performs light cleaning duties to keep healthcare establishments clean and orderly, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens, and vacuuming. The position is based at 6301 Northumberland Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The schedule is full time, with days that may vary, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. No prior experience is required. The posted pay range is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Requirements

- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service through attentive, one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
