About The Position
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident apartments and the community’s common areas. The role includes general cleaning, preparing vacant apartments for resident move-ins, responding promptly to resident and guest needs, and potentially helping with resident emergencies. Employees are expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers. Training is provided; prior experience is not required.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident apartments, hallways, and other common areas.
- Help prepare vacant apartments for resident move-ins.
- Respond promptly to resident and guest needs and requests.
- Help respond to resident emergencies when asked.
