About The Position
The PM Cook helps run the kitchen as part of a team and maintains a positive, professional approach with coworkers and guests. The role involves preparing food, keeping the hot bar ready for guests, and maintaining clean, properly stocked work areas while following sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of restaurant experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or direct the preparation of food to be served in compliance with sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards.
- Use supplies and facilities properly to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
- Monitor incoming food products to ensure quality.
- Ensure the hot bar is ready for guests; condense and refill it as needed.
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and griddles.
- Clean and stock workstations.
