About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Cook. The role prepares food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets while maintaining sanitation, food safety, inventory rotation, and clean, organized storage areas. The Cook may collaborate with a manager on specials and menu variations and perform other duties as assigned. This position is tipped eligible. Previous experience in a similar role is required; a high school education is preferred.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is required.
Basic understanding of, or ability to learn, sanitation and workplace safety regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to multitask.
Team-player attitude.

High school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
Keep food storage areas organized and clean.
Handle and store food items properly at the end of each shift and rotate inventory.
Prepare food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
Maintain clean and orderly storage areas and product pars.
Work with the manager to create specials and other menu variations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
