About The Position
Roto-Rooter is seeking a responsible, motivated, hard-working plumber or drain-cleaning technician who provides excellent customer service. The company will train the right candidate and offers career opportunities for personal, financial, and professional growth. Technicians serve residential and commercial customers, performing work from faucet repairs and drain cleaning to water-heater installations and plumbing-system replacements. The role requires working a rotating on-call schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Company-provided immunizations are required for this position, with the cost paid by Roto-Rooter. Applicants undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks, including driving-record and criminal-history checks.
Requirements
- Ability to handle the physical workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean background check and driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old to drive company vehicles.
- Must be able to work the rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Certain immunizations are required for the position.
