Plumbing Service Technician
About The Position
EJ Home Services is a residential service company specializing in plumbing, electric, heating, and air conditioning that has served Santa Clara and the surrounding Bay Area since 2006. The Plumbing Service Technician diagnoses and repairs plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures, and installs and maintains pipes, faucets, and other plumbing components. The technician ensures work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards, conducts safety and performance tests for each system, and completes detailed service reports. The role includes explaining issues and solutions clearly and courteously to clients and communicating with homeowners about system status before and after service. Customer service is a major emphasis. Daily tasks also include collecting payments, providing accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, and maintaining truck inventory. Technicians are dispatched directly from home and are provided a work vehicle. The company may assist candidates with field experience who do not currently have licensing. Compensation is hourly with bonus incentives, and the company describes room for growth.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
