About The Position

Central Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The technician independently troubleshoots plumbing issues, completes repairs efficiently, and provides professional customer service. The role involves responding to dispatches and preparing and presenting repair quotes directly to customers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe wrenches and pipe cutters.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and diagnostic skills.
• Patient, friendly, and able to work effectively with a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean Department of Motor Vehicles driving record.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and assess plumbing system safety and code compliance.
• Customer-focused communication and ability to present repair quotes accurately.
• Physical strength and stamina to work in awkward or confined spaces.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Read blueprints and drawings to plan plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply system layouts.
• Cut, assemble, and install plumbing lines while protecting existing infrastructure, including electrical wiring.
• Install, maintain, and repair water supply systems; locate and repair leaks.
• Repair or replace damaged drainage lines and clear clogged drains.
• Repair plumbing fixtures and appliances, including faucets and water heaters.
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems.
• Respond to dispatches, address customer questions, and provide professional service.
• Prepare quotes and present them directly to customers.
